WHAT IS THE #STANDTOGETHER CAMPAIGN?
#StandTogether is a campaign initiated by R.AGE and SP Setia to make the first week of April a National Kindness Week in all schools. The objective of National Kindness Week is to help promote kindness and empathy in the Malaysian school system, which can help build students’ character, improve learning outcomes, and reduce bullying.
WHAT IS THE NATIONAL KINDNESS WEEK?
The National Kindness Week is aimed at encouraging a kinder environment for all Malaysian schools. Starting this week, schools will have activities that encourage kindness and understanding among students and teachers.
WHEN IS THE NATIONAL KINDNESS WEEK?
The National Kindness Week is on the first week of every April. For 2020, it will start from April 5-10.
IS NATIONAL KINDNESS WEEK ENDORSED BY THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION?
Yes, the Ministry of Education has given us their full support to implement National Kindness Week in schools nationwide.
CAN A SCHOOL SEND IN MULTIPLE ENTRIES?
Yes! Schools can run multiple Kindness Projects and submit them for our competition, but there can only be one winning entry per school. Each Project must be led by students, and they can do so in groups of not more than 10 students.
CAN WE SUBMIT ENTRIES AS A GROUP OF STUDENTS?
Yes! You can take part in the competition as a class, a school society, Badan Beruniform, or just a group of friends who want to make the school a kinder place, as long as one group does not exceed 10 students to lead the project.
DO WE HAVE TO PAY TO TAKE PART IN THE COMPETITION?
Not at all! Participation in all #StandTogether programmes are completely free. All our classroom resources are free as well.
WHAT WILL BE THE REWARD FOR JOINING THE #STANDTOGETHER COMPETITION?
Twenty participating schools will stand a chance to win a cash grant worth RM1,000 to help them expand their kindness activities and/or school visits from our #StandTogether celebrity ambassadors.

WHEN IS THE DEADLINE TO JOIN THE COMPETITION?
April 17, 2020. So hurry!
HOW TO REGISTER FOR THE #STANDTOGETHER COMPETITION?
It’s easy! Answer a few submission questions, then don’t forget to fill in the Competition registration form and submit it, complete with your principal’s signature, before our deadline. IS IT OKAY FOR US TO JOIN IN THE #STANDTOGETHER COMPETITION WITHOUT TAKING PART IN THE #STANDTOGETHER NATIONAL KINDNESS WEEK?

WE WANT TO ORGANISE A #STANDTOGETHER KINDNESS WEEK IN OUR SCHOOL, BUT WE DON’T WANT TO TAKE PART IN THE COMPETITION. IS THAT OKAY?
Of course! You can register here and get your principal to implement at least three of the suggested policies in your school or go to our resources page here to download some recommended activities for you to run in your school!
DO I HAVE TO IMPLEMENT MY IDEA EVEN IF I DON’T GET SELECTED?
Yes, we strongly encourage you to do this. The goal of the #StandTogether Competition is to get students like you involved in changing the environment of schools across the nation.
